How we manage quality
YBT has operated an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certified by TÜV NORD Taiwan since June 2017; the current certificate cycle runs to June 2029. For gas appliances, market certification is obtained through an accredited test body before mass production begins, so the certificate exists when the first container ships rather than being chased afterwards. YBT’s own patio heaters hold CE certification under Regulation (EU) 2016/426 with Module D production surveillance by Intertek Italia, and a cETLus listing to CSA/ANSI Z83.26 for the North American market. Responsibility for a quality issue is settled by its cause: a defect caused in production is YBT’s to correct; a defect caused by the customer’s design is the customer’s. Dimensional inspection is carried out against the customer drawing; stamped features are held to ±0.05 mm and laser-cut profiles to ±0.1 mm. See Capabilities for the full equipment list.
