Sheet metal manufacturing to your drawings

Send a DXF, DWG, STEP or PDF with material, thickness and quantity. Eight processes quoted as one job from one plant, so a part that needs cutting, forming, finishing and sub-assembly is not split between three vendors.

What we can quote from your drawing

YBT quotes drawing-based sheet metal work across stamping, laser cutting, CNC press brake bending, perforating, welding, finishing and sub-assembly, from the same plant in Tanzi District, Taichung that builds its own gas appliance products. That matters for a parts buyer in one specific way: the equipment was bought to build a finished consumer-facing product, so it is set up for cosmetic surfaces and repeatable assembly rather than rough structural work alone. Quotation requires the drawing plus material grade, thickness, quantity, surface treatment and required lead time. Where a part crosses several processes, it is quoted as a single routed job rather than as separate operations, which removes the tolerance stack-up that appears when three vendors each work to their own datum. Simple parts are quoted within 3 days, more complex assemblies within 1 to 2 weeks; once in production, parts typically ship in 1 to 2 weeks depending on quantity.

Quotation and production questions

What is the MOQ for drawing-based parts?
Guideline 1,000 pcs per part number for parts that need no new tooling, and above 1,000 pcs where tooling is involved. Smaller quantities are quoted case by case with the unit price reflecting the volume; there is no hard cut-off.
Do you make the tooling in house?
Stamping dies, forming fixtures and welding jigs are made in house, by YBT’s own two toolmakers, which shortens the loop when a part needs a dimensional correction after first article. Tooling paid for by the customer belongs to the customer.
Can you hold tight tolerances on formed parts?
Stamped features are held to ±0.05 mm and laser-cut profiles to ±0.1 mm. Bend tolerances depend on material, thickness and part geometry and are confirmed against the drawing at quotation.
Do you handle surface treatment and sub-assembly too?
Yes. Polishing, powder coating, liquid paint and plating are offered, and assembly runs from sub-assembly through to packed finished goods. See Surface Treatment & Assembly.
Which file formats do you accept?
DXF, DWG, STEP and PDF. A 3D file plus a dimensioned 2D drawing is the fastest combination to quote.
